Nina Berler
iTooch 8th Grade Math co-author, Nina Berler has taught middle-school English and math and worked one-on-one with numerous middle and high school students to improve writing skills, enhance study habits, prepare for standardized tests and interviews, and apply to independent schools and colleges. She also is an independent contractor for eduPad, the Educational Testing Service and the Wall Street Journal Classroom Edition. During her corporate career, Nina worked for professional services provider KPMG, where she directed the Executive Education program unit and led marketing communications initiatives. Nina has an AB with Honors from Brown University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. She is presently completing UCLA’s certificate program in College Counseling. Nina is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Brown Alumni Schools Committee.
William Scott Stone
iTooch 8th Grade Math co-author, William Scott Stone, has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and has worked for Northrop Grumman as a computer programmer. He also has a bachelor’s degree in teacher education from Stockton College of Ponoma, New Jersey. He has been an educator for five years teaching middle school math and social studies. He has completely redesigned a school district’s website based on teacher needs and ease of use.

Prior to his education he served in the United States Army for eight years during which he was deployed to Desert Storm (1st Iraq War 1991). During his service he worked on and operated various military vehicles. The majority of his service was completed at Fort Campbell Kentucky (101st Airborne Division) where he received his wings and was promoted to Sargeant.
Eileen Heyes
iTooch 8th Grade Math editor, Eileen Heyes has a BA in journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She wrote and edited at newspapers for 30 years while trying to decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. She is the author of three nonfiction books for teens and two mysteries for children. In learning the storytelling craft, she has studied screenwriting and improv, earned a certificate in Documentary Arts, and volunteered in the street cast of a Renaissance Faire. She takes it all back into the classroom as a writer-in-residence with the United Arts Council of Wake County, North Carolina. Originally from Los Angeles, she now lives in Raleigh with her brilliant husband and one of her two interesting, articulate sons.
